Masala Paratha

Toasted Wheat Germ Masala Paratha

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (atta)

  • 2 tbsp toasted wheat germ masala

  • 1/4 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)

  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder

  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander

  • Salt to taste

  • Water to knead the dough

  • Ghee or oil for cooking

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, mix wheat flour, toasted wheat germ masala, ajwain, cumin powder, red chili powder, chopped coriander, and salt.

  • Add water little by little and knead into a soft dough. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

  • Roll out small balls of dough and flatten them into parathas.

  • Cook the parathas on a hot tawa (griddle), applying ghee or oil until both sides are golden brown.

  • Serve with yogurt, pickle, or chutney for a nutritious breakfast.
