(Emmer Wheat) Roti

Khapli Atta (Emmer Wheat) Roti

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup khapli atta (emmer wheat flour)

  • Water to knead the dough

  • Salt to taste

  • Ghee for serving

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, mix khapli atta and salt. Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough.

  • Divide the dough into small balls and roll out each into a thin roti.

  • Cook on a hot tawa, flipping once, until brown spots appear on both sides.

  • Serve the soft rotis with a dollop of ghee alongside dal, sabzi, or curry for a wholesome meal.
